Whilst an official announcement from Government will not be made until closer to the date, it is expected the Muslim fasting month of Ramadhan will start on/around 19th July, with Idul Fitri Holidays from 18/21 August.

Many offices will be closing earlier than usual during this month, and factories will generally slow / stop production.

17th August is also a national  holiday for Independence Day.
