These new offices in the Ports of Mormgao and Krishnapatnam brings the total number of offices that Ben Line Agencies operate in India to 11 and further demonstrates our commitment to partnering with our principals in India, one of the world’s fastest growing economies.

Mormugao Port is the key port servicing not only the state of Goa, but also many inland cities in Southern India. In 2008-2009, the port handled 8% of the total traffic handled by the twelve major ports of India. It is India’s leading iron ore exporting port, but also handles coal, coke fertilizer, alumina, limestone and steel (coil & slabs). The port handles increasing volumes of containerised cargo.

Krishnapatnam Port in the state of Andhra Pradesh is developing into a world-class deep water port with outstanding services and facilities to handle imports and exports for Southern and Central India. Krishnapatnam Port is the first of the state owned minor ports to be managed by the private sector for its development and operations.

Ben Line Agencies has already been handling vessels at both these strategic ports. However, Ben Line Agencies will invest further by opening these new offices and recruiting the staff to ensure that they provide the highest possible level of service to our principals at all the key ports across India.
