Customer Service Executive – Tank Container & Chemical Logistics

Manila, Philippines

Role:

The function of this role is to provide efficient handling and timely execution of the orders involving a wide range of packaging and modalities of a large variety of commodities including general cargo, gases, chemicals and other liquids. You will be the primary point of contact for our customers and will work closely with our teammates to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Scope:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and provide updates on shipment status, delivery schedules, and any potential issues or delays.
  • Provide customers and other stakeholders with excellent and personalized customer service, meeting and exceeding their KPI and expectations.
  • Coordinate with truckers, shipping carriers, container yards, warehouse and other vendors for rates and to ensure timely execution of orders.
  • Execute data entry with high accuracy and on time.
  • Proactively identify and address potential issues or risks related to customer orders.
  • Monitor and follow-up on potential orders and bookings.
  • Prepare reports based on customers’ requirements.
  • Proactively respond to customer enquiries with the intent of providing customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Ensure all events of orders such as booking details are updated promptly.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge with port system and any other related shipping systems.
  • Prepare shipping documents such as booking note, confirmation, reports, schedules, invoices, BL and Notice of Arrival.
  • Develop and maintain a professional and ethical working relation with colleagues.
  • Any other duties as assigned by Tanks & Chemical Logistics manager.

Requirements:

  • Diploma shipping / logistics. (Desirable)
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Empathic personality.

  • Cargowise system experience. (Desirable)
  • Minimum 2 years in freight forwarding experience or chemical logistics.

Assistant Sales Manager – ISO Tanks & Chemical Logistics

Role:

The function of this role is to actively market and canvas Malaysia for customers which grow our tank container & chemical logistics business. Also, to develop existing customers. In addition, to pro-actively plan and lead the commercial activities for the tank container & chemical logistics business.

Scope:

  • To generate and secure new business for the company.
  • Analysis product and services opportunities to create potential pipeline.
  • Support tender management.
  • Coordinate with Sales and operational teams within the network on commercial activities, opportunities, and onboarding new business.
  • To schedule visits & meeting with client and write-up clear visit reports as per company guidelines.
  • Maintain and update client information details in the system to ensure efficiency in market coverage.

Assistant Manager – Operations

Johor Bahru, Malaysia

Scope:

  • Review, establish, monitor, and continuously improve our work process to ensure that we are providing high service levels to clients.
  • Ensure KPIs are met.
  • Ensure that we always have the latest information and updates on regulatory processes.
  • Co-ordinate activities between our Principals and our relevant local offices, through regular communications and meetings to improve rapport with the clients.
  • Maintain clear records of all reporting as well as meeting deadline where necessary.
  • Ensure all reports and statistics duly assigned and are submitted or sent out on time with accuracy.
  • Review weekly updates on outstanding / debtors list with National Manager & GM.
  • Must be familiar with HSEQ requirements including ensuring procedures are adhered to at all times.
  • Manage all extraordinary requests from Clients.
  • Ensure all the vessels assigned by the Manager is covered thoroughly and timely reporting’s are duly arranged to Principals.

  • Troubleshoot situations deemed problematic or failure to ensure it doesn’t happen again.

Requirements:

  • Degree in any field preferable in Maritime, Port Management, Shipping.
  • Min 5 year of working experience in the Port Services and Operations sector of Shipping.
  • Good knowledge of functions of various Government department / authorities is an added advantage.
  • Able to work under pressure and good communication skills.

Business Development Manager – Tank Container & Chemical Logistics

Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam

Role:

The function of Business Development Manager (Tank Container & Chemical Logistics) role is to actively market and canvas Vietnam for new customers which grow our tank container & chemical logistics business. Also, to develop existing customers in Vietnam. In addition, to pro-actively plan and lead commercial activities.

Scope:

  • Acquisition of new business from new customers and existing customers based on a value proposition and solution.
  • Set targets, and be accountable for achieving them, for commercial activities in Vietnam, aligned with group product strategy.
  • Own the development of opportunities with large MNC customers, manage the relationship at the most senior level.
  • Lead, inspire, coach, and train team members who contribute to the commercial efforts, including those who do this part time.
  • Execute the sales and marketing function.
  • Enabling the sales success and ensure sales targets are met.
  • Organize and maintain sales reports, forecast and budget.

Role:

Driving sales and business development initiatives that are targeted at tank container and chemical logistics in Indonesia.

Scope:

  • Ensure and known about making business plans, especially in chemical goods, transportation, and logistics.
  • Ensure and known cross-selling activity, and maintaining the existing customer.
  • Ensure and known that the customer Service Level Agreement (SLA) is implemented.
  • Ensure and known about the bidding and tender submission process.
  • Ensure and known about the process of dangerous goods / chemical transportation / waste management (B3).
